Wasn't DOOM rumored to have almost been featured on it?
he talks about DOOM in the video haha
MJ discog is full of these
Earth Song for example is early Dangerous era but ended up on HIStory
Wanna Be Startin Somethin started as an Off The Wall track, etc.
A lot of the songs made during the Nebraska era were re purposed for the Born in the USA album. If you listen BITUSA the lyrics are incredible dark but the songs themselves are very upbeat
more context: bruce was sitting on the fully recorded bitusa prior to releasing nebraska and had nebraska songs recorded in the same vein as bitusa but then ended up using the demos he recorded at home by himself as his next album
conversely a lot of bitusa songs were originally recorded as demos that would p much fit on the nebraska album, but he was convinced to rerecord them with the band because the songs had so much potential. thats p much the story of born in the usa aka his biggest ever song
most of post-yeezus/shmg stuff ended up on other records, tell your friends, 3500 (very different from release), piss on your grave, mula, MPA, all your fault, sanctified, reaper
that's my b**** made for MBDTF ending up on WTT
Free on KSG made for ye
etc etc
someone already mentioned it but a bunch of radiohead, main ones being Nude and True Love Waits
Idk if it’s true but I read that I Do by Jeezy was meant for a cancelled Andre solo album
That's true.
In fact, Andre's version leaked a year prior.

the GOAT. Great write up
iirc this was for the Mustard album 10 Summers
no idea why Thug put a song about Nav being back on his album tbh
!https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iLecHH-psD8I liked how the album had songs with each relevant rapper, one with Uzi, Baby, Keed, Juice Wrld, etc and the Nav song "worked."
EA Deluxe was released around that time and ended with an even better Nav renegade.
We actually have the demo from 2009

See Me Now was made when Kanye was still planning on doing that instead of MBDTF. That's the unreleased Ye album I wish we'd gotten the most
Flying High by Travis was originally a Mac/Pharrell song for Pink Slime with Pharrell on the hook instead of Toro
shoulda gave it to pink slime instead, worst song on the album. i like toro too, i still wish trab secured a cudi feat for rodeo, then the album woulda been 10/10 fr
