  • There’s multiple examples but I don’t even really need to post any other songs besides this one yall know them all

This encapsulates that mixture perfectly, the tragedy and the whimsical nature of the instrumentals and the vocal melodies

    Beautiful stuff

We’ll never see another group quite like Kast

“And you forget your happiness CAMEANDWENT like mom dads RELATIONSHIP”

“I never knew that alcohol could ease the notion of the sadness
Now what used to he a happy home turned into some bad s***

The obvious one is Hey Ya

“Yall don’t wanna hear me yall just wanna dance”

But that juxtaposition runs through the whole album

  • thread blowing my mind rn bc i randomly been listening to unhappy all week wtf lol

this one always felt like old kast to me

back when this came out didn’t know they still had this in their bag. one of their few true return to form situations sonically imo

  • I knew unhappy would be the song in op

  • Big Boi talking about his parents relationship on Unhappy was hella relatable

I do prefer TLB to SB but SB is still a very very good project

Favourite tracks: Flip Flop Rock, Church, Reset, Bowtie & GhettoMusick
Reset is smoother than some botox'd balls, makes sense that he got Cee-Lo for such a smooth joint, Cee-Lo a goofy dude but dude is a superb rapper & rap/singer hybrid, They Don't Dance No Mo' might be the smoothest short verse ever (even above Jay-Z on frontin')

not even mad about Killer Mike's appearance at all (we off KM as of the latter part of the past decade)

  • My favorite OutKast album

  • my dad played this album so much when it came out this s*** literally in my dna
