TL;DR:

• They say they accidentally combined TWO Drake songss together for the world record. It no longer beats NLU streaming record on Spotify, no wonder no other patform didnt report this record either. They are no longer saying what the real number is, but retracted it from being the #1 biggest of all time in any genre including Rap.

• The 13million number was the claim, which BTS is at 14million and NLU is at 12million. They first lied about the 13million being the biggest ever, which BTS fans knew BTS was at 14million and pressed them. Which then Spotify is now claiming the number is fake altogether with an error combination of two seperate song - they have not released the reworked number.

Don’t see anything saying the 13.2 million number was fake. Most sites reporting all the individual streaming numbers are still reporting 13.2 million.

The only mistake was a false claim that it was the most streamed song in a single day IN 2026 because BTS was overlooked. It was still streamed more than NLU and the most streamed rap song oat.

Any time bot streams have been removed drakes number barely move while other artists lose millions and millions of streams. The fact that people seriously try to make it seem like Drake is the one fabricating numbers when he never hopped on the bundles wave, vinyl wave, 20 versions of an album wave etc

I thought it was weird myself cuz other platforms werent reporting on the major records Spotify was randomly saying. Apple Music is usually Drake's biggest performer, but I thot maybe the free tier of Spotify and day 1 hype really did blow the intro up like that on just Spotify. I mean the first track is ually the biggest on almost any album by a good margin.

But then I saw on Youtube and Drak'es songs are not pumping like that there. He has music videos under a million views still, only some are a million barely with two at like 3-4mill, and he has the track version of songs under 100,000 still. Official Youtube and artist tag. This is not normal compared usual Drake, even Kanye had better YT numbersin the first 3 days, if Im not mistaken.
