it would’ve saved the series
seeing the audience on opening night of TFA was drastically different than opening night on TROS
It's just insane to me how badly they mishandled probably the most sacred movie series of all time besides maybe The Lord Of The Rings. It would've been a tough task for anyone, but somehow they managed to do everything wrong with the new movies.
I felt more emotion when Mando took his helmet off to say goodbye to Grogu then I did the entire sequel trilogy.
I think Din is already confirmed to appear in Ahsoka and Rangers of the new republic at some point
Also if Boba is the main character I think Din can still show up... Boba can hire him for jobs and such since they ended on good terms
That would make sense
There is no Luke in this series. This is not a Jedi show. Don't people understand that Ahsoka was in this show just to introduce her character and show plot details about the Rebels sequel, which is to find Ezra and Thrawn. I know for a fact there will be a couple other characters I won't say that people will get excited about but not Luke

Did the movie make any more sense at all knowing palpatine and rey are related? Or nah

It was a decent setup. I think it took a little too much step by step from A New Hope, but I figured they'd step it up in Episode 8. Lol.

maybe just connecting the dots but family between this and halo infinite in the same time frame next year i will be feasting
Future is looking bright for Star Wars with these series that are coming holy s***
I'll go where I want you moron. No one saw that coming.
Literally every non idiot who watched the Ahsoka episode saw it coming
Did the movie make any more sense at all knowing palpatine and rey are related? Or nah
no because palpatines involvement wasnt decided until the day of filming iirc
So we still getting Mando s3? or is it ending here and the story for Bo-Katan retaking, and uniting Mandalore going to be a different show?
Congrats I was wrong...
Eat crow bud, you were acting hella rude to me for no reason when I said Luke would be showing up

Hell f***ing no. Smoke was the primary antagonist from the jump but Rian decided to kill him for some reason so JJ scrambled to figure out a way to justify Snokes death.
One of the few great things Rian did was have Rey revealed to be a nobody in episode 8. That was really unique and intriguing for a Star Wars film, and then JJ had to retcon it but saying she was a Palpatine. Yes that would explain why she was so freaking perfect when it came to being a Jedi, but by Episode 9 I didn't care, I was just ready for the movies to be over with.
