This was one of my fav shows of 2019. The finale was incredible and exactly the direction SW should be going in, ie, away from Skywalker/Jedi and create new iconic characters.
Yeah Boba would be corny. His character is ass anyways. Din Djarin already surpassed him.
he ass because Lucas mishandled him
We all know he’ll be done proper justice in this
He’s the antithesis of Din Djarin
Boba ain’t coming back stop tripping
youre gonna regret this post when you hear him talk in fortnite
the dead speak! boba fett broadcasts his revenge speech in hopes that Han Solo hears it and it fills him with nothing but fear!
Im jonsing for more Star Wars.. should I watch the Clone Wars tv show?
Yeah def it’s actually really great at giving you a number of characters and storylines between eps 2&3 and fleshing them out. Should have a new season on Disney+ too but idr what year that’s due

this year supposedly in the spring

I highly recommend lmao, for one Anakin's arc is fleshed all the way out, aswell as the republic's unsteadiness. You'll also understand why people like Ashoka so much
How you liking it overall g
3 and 6 are great episodes
The rest is just okay
Wish they let Mando die so that we could have a different person taking care of bb Yoda each season along with the robot

Story progression > familiarity
this was story progression.
literally no one here likes this for familiarity
and replacing the main character for another caretaker is a horrid idea. This isn’t just baby yoda’s show.
Compared to 3 and 6, this wasn’t as good
6 as a stand-alone movie would’ve been the best Star Wars movie since 3
Just finished my marathon of the show 😊 my thoughts on it:
E01 Chapter 1 “The Mandalorian”: As usual this is the episode to install things, set the environment and context, this is a great start to show the amazing make up, sets, cinematography, angles, mood, atmosphere, aesthetic, right off the bat kicks off the western influences
Unfortunately the dialogues and acting feels pretty amateur here, the humor kinda misses altho it ain’t groaning material as TLJ gets
But the music steals the show, his theme song is already as memorable as any JW themes
E02 Chapter 2 “The Child”: Okay this picks up quick! action pieces are amazing, the stakes are picking up yet it’s all very kept restrained and grounded on a small selection of characters and just a simple mission
I’m so happy I waited after the trilogy to see this because coming after TROS that felt like if you’re in a plane during turbulence this really feels minimalist in the best way
The humor really lands good now too got me dropping some fat loud HAH
E03 Chapter 3 “The Sin”: Starts off strong but then gets into the whole Mandalorian lore and listen i get it, background stuff, his gang and all that, but first of all that catchphrase sounds so dumb, like it makes sense that they have it but the way they say it just comes off so corny and yeah the whole ending with that shot of his homie jet pack flying next to him heh, couldn’t care sadly
Also not a big fan of his suit? I know it’s nitpicking, but it doesn’t pop.. I guess it helps to make him an individual but that’s still not artistic especially when like the helmet really was inspired by the medieval stuff so to go back and make it silver kinda takes the Star Wars out of it, you know?
Dope that he stays in mask the whole time tho
E04 Chapter 4 “Sanctuary”: So this one is basically a remake of Seven Samouraïs, it has to be shorten obviously so it’s hard to get as attached but the idea to use an AT&T for it and make it horrorish with the red eye brings some good fun, I know Zack Snyder wished to make a movie out of this idea so it’s cool that someone did it, brings back full circle what made Star Wars what it is
E05 Chapter 5 “The Gunslinger”: Mmmh not my favorite, I do like the teamwork with that dude and the sniping stuff.. but doesn’t have much meat, there seem to be fillers in this, like the sand people randomly showing out of nowhere to let them pass yeah okay bye.... but I’m not gonna lie it was cool to see the dudes rides the flying motorcycles in the desert it really gave me some Empires Of The Shadow flashback haha
Really dope to have credits with concept arts tho! they’re always so beautiful
