I know, im saying it has "felt" more isolated than other titles in the SW universe. Obviously there have been connections but like every main character is someone who has never been used in live action titles before.

Im mainly talking about how everything in the entire universe always conveniently ties back into one family, the skywalkers. I know everything is impacted by the empire. I'm saying let use f***ing breathe in the universe without plugging in major SW and forcing the connection. This show does best when its ties to the movies are a background factor, not leading the plot.

only thing from the main films I think is being handled well is boba fett, so far. but even that im pretty nervous about

Nitpick on a overall pretty decent eps. I really don't like how there was almost nothing but humans on Nevarro. Feel like sw's settings are always more interesting when there's a bunch of aliens mixed with some humans

I feel you im getting tired of the skywalker/palpatine stuff to which is kinda why im iffy about any character coming back. Feel like a show like this should try to disconnect from the films and shows as much as possible and be its own thing but people like it so what are you going to do

yeah it should be all the important stuff that has to do with anakin, ahsoka, maul and the clones

it cuts out a sub plot about the hutts and some plots about the droids going on missions and other random stuff and yup
