It all boils down to the storytelling itself I think, as my issues with TLJ weren't with the story so much and plot points but rather it's inconsistent tone and direction

Just watched Solo. Plot is kinda lazy and predictable but the movie was entertaining regardless. They should follow up on the Qi’ra and Maul stuff on Disney + if they can get Emilia Clarke to come back.

Star Wars definitely needs a someone to helm the franchise but hopefully it’s not feige. I like the marvel movies but they feel like incredible Michael bay movies. I’m glad they’re getting away from doing trilogy movies and letting the stories dictate how many films they need.
