    i don’t think i can speak much on this because i’m not black, but i can say that treating pro-black-capitalism “pull yourself up by your bootstraps by selling crack to your neighbors” lyrics as ancestral gospel might be taking it a bit too far

    definitely important music to the genre & its history though
