My realistic dream roster since my actual dream roster will never happen:

FP1-5: Crash or Sora

FP3(if there is one):
1. Paper Mario
2. Master Chief
3. Doomguy
4. Travis Touchdown (Would be higher but I’m not sure if he’s realistic or not)

Kos-Mos would be a bad reveal for TGA and that’s why I’m worried. Not popular enough in the west and a lot of people don’t know her. I only know of her because of Smash speculation and I put 230 hours into XC2 and apparently she’s in the game if you do a side quest to unlock her which I did not even know LOL

It’s been a while since I played Halo to be fair. Last new Halo game I played was Reach on the 360.
Edit: Unless ODST came after it, I don’t remember if it was Reach then ODST or ODST then Reach

I mean my opinion on the matter could be skewed on that subject. Maybe more people would be hyped for her than I think. I know I wouldn’t. But I also wasn’t hyped for Banjo, Terry, or Hero’s reveals because I don’t really have any connection to any of those 3 characters. Just like I don’t have a connection to Kos-Mos. Joker is the only DLC whose game I actually own and the only one I ever beat.

(Yes, I’ve never beaten a Banjo game or really played much of Banjo in general)

And don’t get me wrong. Terry is cool and they put a lot of love into him.

Hero is mad fun and one of my mains now.

Banjo is whatever.

Joker is probably my least favorite of the DLC to actually use in fights but he is still a cool character. So it’s funny how that worked out

But as far as reveals go I only got hyped for Joker because he’s the only one I had a connection to.

That’s fair. I got hyped even for characters i don’t really know all too much.

But aside from Banjo (and even he was just Nostaliga more so then anything for me)
I haven’t gotten my actual dream characters.

So if this happens tomorrow, i might die from excitement

I’m not against characters I don’t know or don’t have a connection too making it into smash but I’m not gonna be hyped for their reveals.

Almost Everyone on the Smash Reddit wants Phoenix Wright but I don’t give one single eff about Phoenix Wright.

I’m not against him but I would not be hyped like most of the smash sub Reddit would be

Would play as him if he got in tho. At this point I’m satisfied with most dlc choices getting in

I’m okay with Terry and Hero in Smash and Banjo long deserves his inclusion (as he was supposed to be in Melee originally but then rare got sold) but they aren’t reveals that will make me hyped.

Give me Crash because I grew up playing Crash games and replayed the trilogy on the Switch as well as was addicted to Crash Team Racing for half of this year.

Give me Sora because I grew up playing KH1

Give me Master Chief because I grew up playing Halo 1-3, Reach, and ODST

Give me Doomguy because even though I haven’t finished Doom 2016 I enjoy it.

Give me Shantae because even though I hated the game I bought of hers, I really like her as a character.

Give me Geno because he’s COOL and because Nintendo would have an excuse to put SMRPG on the Nintendo online SNES games collection and I could finally play it.

Yeah, I’m not really against anyway (except Waluigi lol) but there’s definitely levels to this and it more so doesn’t feel like a bad selection of a character choice because there hasn’t been a bad choice yet but it’s more “X character would be way better than what they chose”

And yeah that’s a poor and entitled mindset to have but when you strip it all back, a lot of us are thinking that sometimes.

As far as first party character goes, the fact that Paper Mario isn’t in Smash yet is a crime against humanity.

I could see the argument being “too many versions of Mario” himself but Paper Mario would be unique I feel.

I’d prefer Shadow Mario myself over Paper Mario but I know that will never happen.

The only reason we even have 3 Links in the game is because of the “everyone is here” selling point.

All the dlc i want is fresh new characters 1st or 3rd. Doesn’t matter.

And yeah, DK deserves a 3rd rep. I’d prefer Lanky Kong but Dixie or Funky make more sense.
