What do we think is the deal between James Gunn & Ana Nogueira?
Zero lead writer credits on a film before Supergirl, Gunn says that this movie was fast-tracked because of how good the script was, and she immediately gets chosen to pen Teen Titans and Wonder Woman as well.
After seeing the film, it seems like the one thing everybody is in agreement on is that the script is not good, which is leading to a lot of worry over the upcoming films that she’s writing.
Do we think there’s more to the story? Was her original script ruined in the editing room? Something else at play?
It’s also up to the director to make it come to life

Some of it we know Gunn and Craig collaborated to make changes combined with adapting . In short it’s too many cooks . Can’t have the person who oversees universe , new writer , adapting tom king comic all clashing

You could give the greatest director this script as we heard it and it simply isn’t a good movie to me even if every other element was perfect

Dialogue was bad some parts but others was great krypton scenes for example where he’s telling her why he doesn’t want her to stay on the planet and die with them almost feels like some scenes were written by other people lmao

End of day some on Craig but it’s not his script with no writing credit . It wasn’t even his choice to adapt woman of tomorrow

This situation sets Craig and Ana up to be fall people for a movie that didn’t even need to be out right now. There was no high demand and it didn’t really accomplish or fill that many holes needed for man of tomorrow

Yet people want to blame Gunn while everyone is saying that the film would be a lot better if Gunn actually directed it, that’s the danger of hiring Directors that have never worked on superhero films.
I say just the wrong Director, considering the script was average at best.
