Saying "The show is going to a weird place" is different from what you said earlier about it not showcasing the black experience anymore. So yes saying that reflects off YOUR experience and why you can't relate, but it doesn't automatically mean it's not a black experience, it's just not your experience.

Season 3 was them having success and being in Europe and feeling uncomfortable around international white folks. For example being weirded out that black face is normal in some countries. Sounds like a black experience to me I would be weirded out seeing that s*** too.

Also the trinidad episode in season 3? The church episode in season 4? Plenty of black people related to those episodes. So once again, it's YOUR experience that you aren't seeing in those seasons
