Should've done it on the Barbs @dedication
I don't agree with post by the user known as Twitch
lmao i'm talking like I have 'stand your ground' rights
lmaooo ight man
I personally like both, just prefer Solange. I didn't realize two blood sisters with the same parents had two different levels of 'blackness'
Again you keep dancing around the fact that it ain’t really about them and moreso the type of mf who made s*** like cranes in the sky their whole personality and the average Solange fan closer to a “new black” than the average Beyoncé fan although IMO there’s a lotta overlap lmao
You really only see that type of person on social media though which is why people put Donald Glover and some of the direction his content has gone in since the early seasons of Atlanta in that category. It’s s*** that seems disconnected from the actual black experience

Both sides of that s*** is embarrassing af.
It's embarrassing for someone to say 'martin wasn't funny' (but thats cus Martin a top 5 show for me personally) and it's also embarrassing to run with a corny ass phrase just cus someone doesn't like the same s*** you do. But by all means lets keep separating black people hooo-rayyy
But then again I also think calling white chicks a "Karen" is corny and passive aggressive af. I prefer the term "white b****"
This exactly ya problem right here....

That’s where Donald Glover seemingly gets a lot of his vibe for the convos he’s starting in his newer work though lol
Where does Donald Glover get the impression that black women dont like him in 2020 and beyond as a married man lol

Exactly why I said I bet you're just the same as these people you're criticizing. It's called projection.
And your second question, idk? I'm assuming cus he married a white girl? (She's white right?) I don't care about all that, "new black" "real black" bla bla bla. I don't focus in on other peoples personal lives and cry over it like twitter does. I just care about entertaining content.
I loved Atlanta. You made it clear you didn't, only the first 2 seasons because the later seasons doesn't properly showcase the black experience. When people say s*** like that it basically means "Only my experience is the real black experience" hence why you don't relate to it.

No the answer to the second paragraph is social media thank you for playing. Lmao I don’t give a f*** who his wife is either just saying it’s ironic to downplay social media when that’s where a lot of this stuff probably stems from for Donald and the writing team lol
As far as your last paragraph I’ve never been a rap manager, rapper or whatever Darius was but somehow me and millions of others still felt like the show was going to a weird place after those first two seasons so it’s not just about “my black experience” lmao

isn't twitter social media? Cus I clearly said "I don't care about their personal lives like these ppl do crying on twitter". I can guaranteed one of the reasons social media is saying that is due to who he lays in bed with.
Saying "The show is going to a weird place" is different from what you said earlier about it not showcasing the black experience anymore. So yes saying that reflects off YOUR experience and why you can't relate, but it doesn't automatically mean it's not a black experience, it's just not your experience.
Season 3 was them having success and being in Europe and feeling uncomfortable around international white folks. For example being weirded out that black face is normal in some countries. Sounds like a black experience to me
I would be weirded out seeing that s*** too.
Also the trinidad episode in season 3? The church episode in season 4? Plenty of black people related to those episodes. So once again, it's YOUR experience that you aren't seeing in those seasons
