This is f***in stupid but at the same time people really act like there’s no personal responsibility when it comes to covid
Lets say that hospitals are able to take care of 40 of the 50 people that need to be in the hospital, so 10 people are at a bigger risk
Now let's say there was no lockdown. Hospital is still able to only take care of 40 people, but 400 people need help. So 360 people are at risk now.
This is just basic math...
They're still getting overflown, it would be way worse, is this really that hard to comprehend?
This doesnt make any sense when
1. They put up field hospitals to contain overflow and got taken down cause no one was using them and
2. In a year not one motion has been made to increase capacity
Causing suicides, poverty, d*** addiction, domestic abuse, miseducation, and a plethora of other s*** is saving lives?

You don’t remember all the kids who were terrible at math in school?
If we did an actual lockdown at the beginning of the pandemic like other countries, it woulda been fire. But at this point people don’t want that and it will never happen so covid is basically just something we want to deal with
Yeah exactly, that's the path we chose I guess. With texas doing this, I'm scared other states will follow
If this is the case then why are they still saying hospitals are overflowing even in places that are still locked down
Because we've been in a weird place of half lock down half out and about for a year
and even for those who do lock down, they still gotta get gas, go to grocery store and mingle with folks like you who think that because a half assed lockdown/mask mandate hasn't completely eliminated the virus lol preventative measures are a futile practice as a whole
why are you asking questions you already know the answer to lol
