But it’s probably different because Natty is changing ideas/what he says all the time.

Like Matty already said he’s working on LP5 and that LP5 will sound like People.

Who knows if this will be true or not. We know Matty says a lot of things that end up not being true. And it’s not likely that he’s lying to us but more so they change their direction a lot even when in the middle of working on an album.

Who else gets old albums hype while waiting for the new album?

What I mean by this is listening to the band’s old music even more so then normal leading up to a new album release.

I’ve been listening to them a lot lately because I’m so hyped for the new album. Of course they are one of my all time favorite bands so I naturally listen to them a lot but I listen to over 1000 artists so it’s still an incredible feat that they have been most of what I’ve been listening to. And after Notes they will be most of what I listen to if the album is as good as all the singles are.

Is anyone else the same way where you listen to The 1975 even more than normal leading up to a new album release?

Last 7 days: 300 Plays (1st place)

Last 30 days: 510 Plays (2nd place)

Last 90 days: 806 Plays (2nd place)

Last 180 days: 3,390 Plays (1st place) {Frail State of Mind came out about 200 days ago so the album hype was getting real}

Man I really wish Jesus Christ 2005 was only Matty

The live version had a different meaning to me then the studio version does and I like the my interpretation of the live version more than the studio version.

I love Phoebe’s voice though, she’s actually one of my favorite modern artists. (I think Natty’s voice is better though so only him would be best in that department still).

Regardless of that complaint I truly feel like this could be their best album ever. I need it in my life now!!!!

The singles to this album don't hit me as much as their last three albums (besides Guys)

I can see that opinion. The 1975 and ILIWYS had really good single choices.

For me if you consider Choclate and The City to be singles for The 1975 (technically listed as singles for the EPs) then I’d give the edge to The 1975 as far as singles go.

Otherwise, I personally think NOACF has the best singles. I have loved all 7 singles!

Although ILIWYS has 2 of my top 5 The 1975 as singles. Hmmmm.

All 3 of these albums just nailed it in the singles department. Really wouldn’t change a thing about how they did the singles for S/T, ILIWYS, and NOACF (Except maybe some different ordering for each of the releases for each album.)

I personally think the singles for ABIIOR weren’t handled the best. I would have changed Sincerity is Scary and Love It If We Made It as singles for Inside Your Mind and I Always Wanna Die (Sometimes) being the singles instead.
