LouI’ll see arguments all the time about who is really wearing the pants in the Irael/America alliance and many smart people will insist that America is fully in charge and the tail isn’t wagging the dog.
But you see how deeply AIPAC’s lobbying tendrils have invaginated our political system to make politicians appear either completely impotent to stop child massacres, or performatively regretful, or obsequiously supportive of Israel. And all refusing to express even the most banal disagreement with any aspect of how Israel conducts itself. It’s total fealty.
Add on top of that the multiple indignities of Israeli spies in the US, constant backtracking on military promises, insults to Christians, whatever the f*** Epstein was, s*** like this interview wherein politicians are fully embarrassed, American public opinion polls that show we do not support Israel, etc.
Sure, Israel achieves a number of America’s foreign policy goals but it just doesn’t seem like the US has a handle on this monster it has created
one thing that's never really discussed is how much classified data Israel has on America through their tech companies and how embedded they are in America's defense system
Mossad isn't allowed in sensitive buildings anymore because they would also place mics everywhere and the CIA teaches its agents about Mossad agents even before they teach them espionage
but that's not doing much bc the cloud solutions, firewalls, VPNs, cybersecurity software, etc that american institutions use are all from Israeli tech companies
