The full prologue was just released on all platforms, it’s a really fun demo. I love the gameplay, very similar to Link’s Awakening, although I’ll admit the fairy in this game is even more annoying than Navi from ocarina, but there’s a setting to turn down how often she speaks which is nice

Surprised at no reviews. Hopefully it turn out well but I hear the writing is pretty “eh”.

I’m seeing the opposite, the writing seems to be getting praise. Criticism seems to be about the time travel mechanic meaning you’re just exploring the same world multiple times over but that doesn’t strike me as a big deal… we’ll see.

    Maybe today

  • Damn, Noisy Pixel gave it a 10. I have pretty similar tastes to these guys, so I trust their judgment. Seems like it's at low 80s for the MC score right now.

  • Score is gonna settle in tue high 70s imo. Currently at 79

    Anyone copped this?
I’ve been fiending a Zelda-like itch, this hit the spot?

Try the demo it’s a couple hours of the prologue and your progress carries over if you decide to buy the game.

It definitely hits the Zelda-like itch with bombs, a bow, multiple melee weapons and some magic abilities that you can use for puzzles and traversal.

  • Enhanced warp is crazy, these mfs won’t see me coming

  • Thinking about copping on switch 2. I had some fun with the demo

  • The scythe chain is my go-to, and I’m loving the bow since I upgraded it. You can shoot 3 arrows and then 5 at once with another upgrade. Combat is super satisfying, plus the fairy abilities add that extra layer to strategy that feels just right

The little puzzle dungeons are each fresh and individual, the initial ones are short and simpler but later they’ll throw like 3 iterations of an idea at you that slowly build in difficulty. Getting heart pieces feels just as rewarding as Zelda. To me this is what I wanted from Mina, a perfect blend of modern and retro in a zeldalike format.

Fairy needs a “shut up” setting

  • The story is so boring 3 hours in . Im reaaly bout to give it up

Game is really light on story overall, last 10 hours I’ve just been doing dungeons and exploring. I feel like it would be like quitting botw because of the story but alright

  • Man the demo is pretty beefy. I remember playing the gameplay demo way back. It was a lot different

Still torn on if I should buy it though. It seems a little too simple/easy. Worried I’d get bored too quick
