Someone make me a playlist or smth, im trying super hard to become a fan
I played p***ography and boys dont cry
The production is absolutely insane, sounds like it’s from last yr. blows my mind these guys were producing stuff like that in the 80s
But I’m just unimpressed w the vocal melodies and overall writing skills of the main singer. When i listen to them i jus wish for a better singer/writer to sing on these beats
Have you peeped Disintegration yet?

They said something about three albums
bruh
need double album
three album sounds great but maybe condensing into one could really make for the best material and blew everyone away, like goat album contender
No i hvnt
Third times the charm 😓
Bruh go listen to Disintegration and then come back and lmk if you still not feeling Robert Smith’s vocals.
If you like their production, then you’re gonna love Disintegration bro

I’m okay with one, but if they condensed the three like you said then I’d be down for that tbh. Had not realized that it’s been over ten years since their last album lol

like the thing is that three albums sounds great right especially after ten years? but what are the odds in this time and age and within how old they are that the three albums will all be a classic run? it’s possible, what do i know! haven’t listened to the last albums in forever so maybe they still going strong, but to cut it down all to one album definitely enhances the chances or pulling a modern classic that lives up to what they aim for, out of three albums if you put into one it has to be a good album at the very least, if not then whew
but hey im down either way

Yup agree 100%. I’ll take one album if it’s anywhere close to Disintegration vibes

Happy Friday

top 5 band of the 80's
Highly recommend Standing On A Beach for anyone trying to get into the Cure as a starting point
P***ography >>>>>>>>>>>>
P***ography better than Disintegration in your opinion?
P***ography better than Disintegration in your opinion?
Absolutely
that riff on the 100 years and the industrial ambience on the figurehead
P***ography better than Disintegration in your opinion?
I honestly prefer P***ography

Disintegration, p***ography and seventeen seconds are the holy trinity of the cure albums imo.
Robert Smith is one of the greatest musicians to ever grace this planet there is no cure without him, keep listening he'll grow on you eventually.
@Tha7osavage Random ass bump.
Never got into the cure besides loving their song 6 different ways a whole lot, but only bc it was in the IT movie
I also knew some corny guitarist a******s in music classes in college who were obsessed with the cure so I had an aversion to them
But Not In Love by crystal castles is one of my favourite songs and I didn’t even realise until TODAY that robert sings it. On my iTunes version it never had that listed. I feel so dumb!
So what are the best cure albums? And what songs kinda have the same vocal approach and style as Not in love? (Unless it’s just all of the cure? And he always sings like that)
I love Not In Love. Where do I go next
