Had the same problem with I Love Boosters tbh I thought it was just the theater but even watching it at home the score kind of overwhelms the dialogue to where it's distracting

I didn't have as much of a problem with this one but yeah the violins were definitely overbearing here and there

That's all I needed personally lol once he gave his full real name the Hawk choice made sense plus his speech about wanting a fresh change

I do think the screenplay deserves a nom if not a win though because it was great

This was so much fun to see with a crowd. Seth Rogen cracked me up on nearly every line. Felt like I was watching a stage play at times.

I don't know if you'd call them rom coms, but what a great year for these smaller scale relationship focused movies (i.e., The Drama, this, Obsession - even though it's horror, but there's definitely some comedy in there).

think I need to see this again.

This has been such a good year for film. Another banger right here.

My only regret is seeing it in a mostly empty theater. I saw Obsession and The Drama when it was packed and it really elevated the experience.

Incredible credits song choice btw. That’s my favorite version of it, so sweet and sad in this context.

Is The Drama a good date night movie? Low-key loved Obsession even though it scarred me and my girl

Depends on how well you know them and what their sense of humor is like. Personally, I wouldn't want to date someone who gets uptight over a movie like that it brings up some interesting discussions too
