i personally don't even think it's written badly. something being interpreted incorrectly has nothing to do with the actual intention behind the line.
i don't have to justify anything i'm not drake lol, i'm offering a different perspective in case someone missed it and comes around to it. but i'm finna leave it alone now

Definitely necessary to have somebody disagree with Joe but Ish just comes off like a salty hater. And he not a music guy really I woulda much rather have a music guy there to disagree
yeah like if ice was disagreeing with joe using ish's points I feel like they'd be more nuanced because ice is music man

I'm at the end of the episode and I didn't hear him come off like a salty hater. I heard him give different perspectives, which Joe always asks for but they obviously weren't tryna hear it that day. I heard him bring up his co-host's past arguments that they seemed to have selective memory on. I heard him big up the things he thought was dope from both sides, and commented on what he didn't like about the battle from both sides. He seemed the most balanced to me overall along with Ice and Emanny. Mel didn't say much. Flip might've been the one in the most support of Drake.
But eh whatever. Joe got to dance on Drake's "grave" like he's been itching to lol
yeah but it comes off like ish at least has a subconscious musical bias to drake and is able to therefore give him a little more grace
I feel like his music opinions play a part in his opinions in other arguments
