I just don’t get the point tbh. It’s not really funny unless you’re trying to appeal to a crowd that you claim to dislike. He kept asking them to do a “fun topic” only to switch to caping for Takeoff’s deadbeat dad wanting money as if that was fun or funny.

Yeah it’s terrible, I don’t understand why Joe hired a guy like Marc if he wasn’t ready to tackle serious topics.

This is also one of the main reasons Parks, Ish and Ice haven’t grown as podcasters. Joe doesn’t empower his co-hosts. So they’re permanently relegated to waiting on Joe to lead everything. The know Joe is going to s*** on whatever they say so why bother.

Use Rory and Mal for example they’ve allowed Demaris to develop into a third mic and give her alot of room to take lead. Joe would have had her on mute.

For sure, I doubt he brought Marc in because he found Marc to be a funny guy and thought that the world needs to see that he's more than the CNN/news panel man that fights injustice or whatever. And, if you listen to the older episodes, Joe tackled serious topics and leaned more on "Marc's side" and would get mad that Mal, Rory, and Parks got jokey.

I don't listen to much Rory and Mal anymore but its great seeing Demaris be the 3rd mic. I'm glad they dropped Julian and the other dude that punched Julian.

They should add a worst podder of the month award, call it the Mona
