What’s everyone’s most memorable sections?

For me it’s definitely these:

• The first 3-4hrs of the game playing as Ellie/Abby in the snow
• First time you see the Scars with Ellie
• Ellie’s birthday
• Flooded city with Ellie
• Getting napped by the Scars as Abby and the entire sequence after in the forest
• Abby hospital section this was classic RE
• Scars island was dope just because it was basically a war, island and boat stuff was heavy Uncharted 4 vibes
• I felt the epilogue was dragging a bit but that also had to do with the fact I thought it was stupid for Ellie to go through a bunch of s*** once again just to try and kill Abby

• Ellie playing guitar for Dina
• entire hill crest section, one of my favourite levels of all time s*** was immaculate
• first encounter with seraphites
• skybridge Abby
• descent + hospital Abby
• final fight on the beach
• Ellie trying to play guitar and realizing how badly she f***ed up

F*** Tommy for pressuring Ellie to go back and find Abby

Mans was like "look I found where to find her, but I can't go sooo "

for me
1. Seraphite Island running through the war
2. Ellie finding Nora in the hospital
3. Ellie baddass at the end and eventually fighting Abby
4. Abby in the hospital fighting the Rat King
5. Abby beating the hell out of Ellie in the theatre (role reversal)

I’m glad Joel died

Dude wasn’t nearly as fun to play with as Ellie or Abby

One of the earlier trailers from a couple years ago left me convinced Joel is dying in this game so it didn't hit me as hard when I heard the leaks, but I heard Ellie dies too and that took the theatre fight to a whole nother level of suspense for me.

Making me think I'm gonna be the one to put Ellie down was torture. I'm just glad my girl survived in the end no matter what the cost

I really thought Ellie was gonna die in this

to be honest I'm actually glad I found out Joel was gonna die several months ago because in a way it really softened the blow. not sure how I would've felt about that if I didn't already know.

I will also say that I am HUGELY thankful that it happened literally in my first like 3-4hr session so that I didn't play through an entire story just to watch him die.

The baby is so cute

I didn't like Abby but I understood the story being told and accepted her role in it. Her character arc was done well, and in context, it wouldn't have made sense to let Ellie kill her in the end.

I'm just glad the gameplay itself was f***ing amazing. The flashback scenes had me in feels x100, Abby's Day 2 and 3 went hardddd (except having to fight Ellie). And then the whole Santa Barbara level was great too.

The story left me really hurt (in a good way) but the gameplay was fun as hell and I loved every second of it

Still don’t know How I stealth my way through the entire hospital scene with Ellie

I cried so f***ing bad. Had to stop for an hour

How he got killed was silly and wasn't like his character from the first game. I get that he's older, but it still doesn't make sense to me. Graphiclly & gameplay wise, this s*** is amazing. Story was ehh.....

This was on point. I’d be really interested in a “full” horror game from ND at some point, they’ve definitely proved with this that they have the ability to pull it off

I liked Abby

How can losers and weirdos hate this game. Most of the human enemies you get to kill are minorities and women. Literally slit the same Asian character models throat 3 times in a row

Switch Abby in the hospital fighting the Kool Aid man (cool but annoying cuz I died the most there lol) to Ellie’s birthday and these are my favorites as well
