Finished my 2nd playthrough and I definitely appreciate it a lot more. I already loved it during my first playthrough but I was able to digest stuff a lot more this time around.
I love the people that didn't play the game and only read the script or saw the alpha footage and don't know the ending was changed.
What was the leaked ending?
Pretty sure it was that Ellie dies lol
Damnnn that's wildd.
Really happy Ellie and Abby survive
What was the leaked ending?
Abby kills Ellie. But if they don't play the game or watch a walkthrough they wouldn't know.
Also I noticed a lot of stuff changed. Like in one early game play trailer you face a shambler in the snow but in the final game you only face them during the Seattle portion and Santa Monica part.
The elderly couple that was split up by FEDRA
The guy that was attacked by Seraphites while trying to get medicine back to his pregnant wife
The elderly Asian guy that wouldn't abandon his store and died praying someone would end the outbreak 😢😢
The family that was stuck helplessly while infected was trying to break in so they committed suicide
Boris story was tragic
The Jules storyline
Boris
Boris
Boris got the ultimate revenge. F*** the neighbors. They really was going to turn him in after the WLF killed his daughter in cold blood. Locked all those f***ers in that garage and they watch themselves turn.
Just finished the main story. While I don’t think this game is a masterpiece I can definitely say it’s enjoyable from a gameplay and story standpoint. I don’t hate the ending but I understand why it went down that way. Just feel like there were many instances where Ellie could’ve/should’ve killed Abby and she didn’t. So I understand why some people hate it. Abby’s missions kind of dragged but the final missions with Lev and his sister were my favorite character moments in the whole game.
Hurt seeing Ellie lose everything towards the end.
7.5/10

Many? My guy there was only 2, one in the thearte where she got her ass wooped, and another at the end. They literally only encountered each other 3 times in the game

She could’ve killed her all 3 times but I still understand the reasoning behind not killing her.

Bruh... no. Ellie could have killed her only on the beach.
I'm still kind having problems with the suspension of disbelief that abby wouldn't kill ellie after she murdered all her friends.
Maybe she still kindve felt bad for killing joel?

A bit of that and a bit of lev stopping her

Now I got an excuse to post this dialogue and it’s a double entendre cuz they’re both fireflies

That, and the immediate time-skip to Ellie on a beautiful farm with a family had me so f***ing confused when I played it

Abby doesn’t know it’s Ellie, she thinks it’s Tommy
Abby doesn’t know it’s Ellie, she thinks it’s Tommy
Yes she does lol. She literally says 'you killed my friends' to her. She obviously just thinks they've come down as a group
Got absolutely nothing to do with the decision to let her live
