After going back and forth b/n this and the og a few times. Yeah the og album is still better. This wasn't really needed besides atavista and human sacrifice. Album lost alot of its dynamics and how punchy the drums on the og were.
Also the missing transitions kinda makes this feel less of an album than 3.15
I'm in the minority but I think this is better than the OG in almost every single way outside of a handful of nitpicks.

Me too π«£
I think people are just too attached to 3.15.20. Donβt get me wrong, I love the original album but this is great too. Itβs just nice for people to be talking about Childish Gambino again

Yeah besides the Psilocybae / To Be Hunted transition and the vocal level on Final Church, this is an improvement on every single front and 3.15.20 was already one of my favourite albums of all time

I think that transition, 21s voice, Summers feature, and Nudys verse are all worse.
But I've come around that mostly everything else is a significant improvement.
bro takes years to rerelease the same album again instead of making new music

It only takes a few button clicks to not be this out of the loop

that's true. I don't know what's going on in US rap tbh

2024 US rap is all boring outside of Cudi, Kendrick, Bino and Vince so far for me

Man....remember when this first streamed on 3.15.20 and this was our tentative tracklist before copyright notices told us what order to go in? We didn't know where the album began or ended or what any of the songs were called. I was on here with y'all lmao
1. Warlords incorrectly titled
2. Little Foot Big Foot
3. Why Go To The Party
4. Feels Like Summer
5. Violence
6. Under the Sun
7. We Are (Interlude)
8. Algorhythm
9. Time
10. Vibrate
11. Beautiful
12. Sweet Thang / Thank You

I remember this time but there was no point where I was convinced this was the album order. The zip I got from the website stream had the correct ordering on it so I was always baffled when I saw this track list floating around

I think I was actually the one that made the tracklist starting with that (at first) what made the most sense to me (I think i started at the end of Beautiful or Sweet Thang the first go around).
But then the copyright notices all said "Track 1" - "Track 12" so we knew the order and I fixed that s*** because i knew I was wrong. But people kept posting the incorrectly ordered one I made.
I have a .zip from the time of someone ordering it like this. How far we've come lol
FINALLY getting the KAYTRANADA x Bino track on June 7th
Hopefully it pops off and gets the mainstream momentum going for Bando Stone

the order was always dictated by the high pitch notes in the long form version of the album telling you when it started and when it ended i dont know how anyone ever got the order confused

Yeah tbh I don't care about the changes apart from To Be Hunted. This is better to me apart from that.
