NoirThe discourse around the three albums, especially Iceman, has been pretty miserable. If you say anything critical whatsoever about the album on here youāre a hater or a kbot, and if you say anything nice about the album on music nerd communities like RYM you get accused of glazing. Itās all really tribalistic and childish.
I think itās impressive that Drake moved the needle with 3 albums at almost 40 years of age and there are some really good songs across the 3 albums. Iceman is probably his most enjoyable album since 2017. I still think the albums are pretty average though and I have a lot the same complaints I always have (whiny, unrelatable subject matter, lifeless vocal performances in spots, too much bloat in general).
Drake is Drake. Nothing is going to change anyoneās mind at this point. The respective fanbasesā defensiveness and volatility that the beef worsened only makes talking about him that much more annoying.
