People/teams like Donald Glover’s are one of one for a reason.
That thread yall prisoner of the moment ass niggas made a while ago look silly in hindsight
Season 1 was good but season 2.....
Gonna copy/paste what I said last hear in another thread.
"I love Vince so I'm not gonna beat his back in...pause, but season 2 feels like there's a heavy Atlanta influence which makes it feel like an imitation. I enjoyed the first season but not the second"
Surprised it lasted more than a season tbh. If it’s not the biggest show OAT, Netflix will cancel it after a season

Thanks for sharing this worthless review with the thread - sure explains a lot!
People be goin thru real s*** in life and watch tv as escapism.
Ergo, ain’t nobody trynna watch a season about a funeral
I bet the viewership data probably stalled after ep2/3
The protagonist shoulda been more poppin like lil d***y in Dave
Keeping the surrealism, ditching the melancholy, and exaggerating the egotistical journey to success.
..Nonetheless, i think he has some good ideas for tv/ film
season 1 was ok, showed that there might be some potential there. season 2 did not fulfill that potential.
Bring back Random Acts of Flyness instead
now season 1 of raof was mind blowing. season 2 had its moments but ultimately didnt stick the landing for me
I liked the first season but i put off watching the second season when it dropped. Just watched the first episode last night and now i see this
will now be a show someone comes across in 15 years and gets let down after binge watching 2 seasons to realize there’s no more episodes
I don't think most people even know it dropped I didn't see a shred of advertising anywhere ever outside vince himself
I just saw the white meat skit

huh? people won’t even watch a show anymore unless it’s death involved
It has a confusing title, and I feel like it was in the works long before it came out. And missed Vince's peak, and Netflix's lol.
Maybe because I'm in the outside looking in but streaming era shows as a whole don't grab me. You can draw a line in the sand after Mad Men or something and everything past it can go.
Breaking Bad (if we're talking quality) or Game Of Thrones (if we're talking Zeitgeist) is the divider imo
