That’s reassuring that other’s have reacted similarly. I’ve started my second listen through and admittedly the textures of each track are standing out a bit more. It’s definitely a switch up from his previous works. Feels like a further immersion in the 80s stylings of some of AH’s tracks.

Been listening to Kissland and miss that era of dark. gritty raw lyricism from Abel. Heard moments of it in AH on tracks like snowchild but they seem to be more fleeting than ever before at this point in his career.
