He is playing it safe Fam... Usually im optimistic but he clearly invested everything into Asia and Europe is just a speedrun.
Dissapointing, so far he has treated every leg uniquely... until now 
Jun 11·1 replyABYSSUSI mean his current project could potentially be it... He is pretty consistent with the source material and if he locks in with the Anime/Cyberpunk/Tech Wear aesthetic then he might have something very special.
I understand the fear of being locked to a character (just like how he felt with the Basquiat hair) but when you break it all down then it's a matter of a few music videos and tv appearances as a character.The real problem is thinking that consistent mood boards and linking with iconic artists (not musicians) have any influence on the actual music. Dude needs to move on from the 80s worship and just make some good songs, who cares about the “era”
