How brainwashed do you really have to be to believe that bullshit? They’re a corrupt communist country. No information that they provide with regards to the virus (that they started) can be taken seriously or as fact.
And with regard to your last point, yes. Regardless of any other countries handling of the virus, China started the virus. Therefore, China is partially responsible for any economic downfall that we experience from COVID-19.
