Not understanding the Samantha comparison. I'm not feeling this one too much

The production is boring which is a wild thing to say about a Toro project

I don't really like this album, its sub par compared to the rest

His last 3 projects are just all over the place sound-wise, there's not a single common denominator between them. It just feels like wasted potential at this point because there's always like good/great songs on these projects but they just seem botched as a whole and are bordering to being quite honestly bad listens

just make another chillwave classic and get out the game tbh

Outer Peace his last classic

i feel like he just does whatever he wants to do and it doesn't always hit. maybe he just gets bored of making the same stuff

this is still better than that country EP he dropped last year

I feel like I'm the only person who actually liked that project

tbh I only played it once but I remember not enjoying his singing at all on it

(Mahal and Outer Peace are in my top 3 toro )

his singing on that project grew on me a lot. lyrically it's stronger than this project

That just seems to be his thing tho.. switching up his sound for every project but still maintaining himself in whatever way whether it’s his lyrics or melodies. Feels like he’s been doing that every project since Anything in return

Yeah but I feel like there was still a thread between every new albums he was dropping even though he was shifting the sound. On his last 3 releases he just departed from this and is jumping from one sound to the other and it just feels very weird to me at least
