The movie, titled Tough Guys, will see Gosling and Ferrell play two henchmen “who are tired of being disposable and break free from the criminal underworld, rewriting the rules as they build a new life on their own terms,” according to the film’s logline.

Currently, no other casting information or directorial status has been announced. Gosling and Jessie Henderson are reportedly in talks to produce the film alongside Ferrell and Jessica Elbaum, with Trevor Engelson and Aaron Folbe in talks to executive produce the project.
