From what I can see, the merchandise isn't bundled with the single so sales shouldn't count towards charts.

I saw there were a rule change back in October with this but boiling it down it's along the lines of, you cannot partner up with third party website for sales and you have to sell the album alongside the product with a minimum price of like 4 dollars.

So Weeknd just charges 14 dollars for a lollipop and 4 dollars for the album and boom 18 dollars for the bundle.
