Sir Swagaloti’m so happy this album finally saw the light of day. i’ll keep on praying we get Chrome Dreams one day…that could’ve possibly been the best NY album ever
If we got Homegrown and Hitchhiker, we'll get Chrome Dreams too, even if the songs overlap. I remember listening to Chrome Dreams 2 and being underwhelmed, almost afraid that if we got the first it would be of the same quality. I read more about it and was less afraid and more hyped.

Joni and Neil both took it to heart because they had polio when they were children and the vaccine was developed around that timei kinda remember this controversy when it happened, didn’t india arie do this as well cuz of him saying nigga but it sure looks like she put her music back up

i dont have a problem with songs being overlapped tbh, it's about the whole package. the same thing could be applied to Camille: yeah we got all the songs but hearing them how they were meant to be heard originally puts them in a whole new light

I think they didn't take into account that this would affect fans way more than Spotify
Spotify probably isn't making a significant portion of their money from people streaming Neil Young

They'll be alternate takes, which will add a different experience with each song, like I'd imagine with Camille. I'd cry tears of joy if we got Camille or Dream Factory. Music nerds like us live for that type of thing.

Amen bro. I hate that it's like this but I'm all for artists having the right to do whatever they want with their music. Unfortunately, record labels have more power than artists. This wasn't the case for Neil and Joni but it is for the majority.
