I appreciate that Tyler's always trying new s*** and not dropping the same album over and over again like most rappers do. It doesn't always land, but f*** it, at least it's always interesting.

I think his production chops have gotten better over time but every album isn’t a “reset”

He has a pretty clear cut formula and sound. At no point in his career has he even came close to switching up as much as Kanye from LR > Grad > 808s > MBDTF > Yeezus
