Tried the homies today and it’s pretty cool. Played through a bit of Doom Eternal,Cyberpunk,P4AU2 and some emulation. All of it ran decently except Switch emulation.
Only real criticism is that the dpad kinda ass and it’s ugly as f***. S*** deadass look like a Sega Gamegear and I don’t really trust valve support after what they did with steambox and steam controllers
Can see myself buying it later on if it gets a price drop or a refresh
Also glad it has paddles on the back
Their support has been great so far. I think we’re only at the start.
Steamlink was their Wii U, steam deck is their switch
what are they cooking
what are they cooking
Can’t lie this is a massive waste of time imo
The thing is so powerful just seems wasted on GBA games
Uncharted 4 and lost legacy on the deck… the future is here
havent had this much fun playing games since my ps2 / 360 days
got the 64gb opened it & put a 1tb in it
got all my favorite games on the emulators from ps2, ps1, snes, gamecube, n64, wii, switch (100+ games only taking up 350gb)
i have 300+ games in my steam library so it was more worth it personally but ive already finished 3 games in less than a month
Thought I lost my charger travelling so I bought the dock and I found it like 2 minutes later
oh well I was prob gonna buy it eventually
Anybody been running games using a micro SD? I’m probably gonna just scoop the 64GB and add a good 512GB/1TB micro sd card

Yeah I didn't notice much difference between SD card and SSD, I usually put more heavy games like RDR2 on the SSD tho
Also the 64gb fills up so quick without doing anything lol I had to replace the SSD

Tbh I was just planning on running everything off the SD card for now. At some point tho, I prob would upgrade the SSD too

Yea. I don’t see a noticeable difference

Yea. I don’t see a noticeable difference
bet… I’ve heard there’s virtually no difference so I’m glad to hear folk in here confirming it

Depends what you’re playing
Full force new AAA I’m getting 1.5-2hrs. Emulating weak s*** like GBA gets triple that
When’d you order? But nice
Wednesday night. Pretty surprised at how quick it got to me, but not gonna complain lol.

Good to know they arrive so quickly. Enjoy!
A Plague Tale: Requiem is f***ing wild
Surprised it even runs on this, game optimization is trash it seems so hopefully they fix it down the line, runs at 30fps on low (it still looks amazing on low settings)
Game is slow paced so 30fps is still enjoyable on this

Ultra settings uncharted locked 30
