Every game I tried has worked perfectly with Proton, only games that don't work are ones that have anti-cheat like MW2 or Fifa 23 so u need to dual boot Windows

so they're working on the steam os desktop version? what's proton tho? like a launcher?

They work through game mode! U add the game to Steam as a shortcut from the desktop and then you can launch the game in game mode
Proton is a compatibility layer that lets you play Windows games on Linux, purchased games on Steam run through Proton as well, cracked games work the same, you just launch them with Proton and you're good to go

I think you need the frame limiter off for it to be consistent 60 for some reason though, same for Donkey Kong

My s*** randomly throttles to lowest clock speeds but only on certain games for like 5-10 seconds maybe
