Idk. It’s pretty interesting timing. Everyone saying Drake hasn’t left and has been mad active since the beef, which is true however we kinda already was in Drake fatigue post CLB era and at this point Drake has done all he can do musically and is just on victory lap mode. So even though drakes been dropping the music just isn’t as insane as the previous years

So Kendrick was supposed to just let Drake win so garbage could still easily go #1

I was answering to the post that said hip-hop doesn’t need to be big.

You said congrats as if the topic of the thread is what made hiphop not as big

Nobody has dropped anything that has hit this year, that doesn’t mean the genre is over

Except many Drake stans on here told us that FATD is revered and is only criticized online, $$$ is a "comeback" album that's on par with his past classics, and Iceman is his most hyped album since Views.

This is verbatim what I've seen said on here.

    So, something's not adding up.

Her Loss and HNVM are also instant classics

I don't like lumping FATD with those albums.

FATD was a steep decline in quality from 2022 imho. I realize there's people who feel otherwise though.

Stan’s are gana be bias as they should to their fav artist. I’m a drake Stan and I’ll tell you the only albums in the 2020s I’ll rate as close to par with his great run of albums is Her Loss and maybe $$$. I enjoyed FATD, some phenomenal RnB on it but as a whole it felt flat compared to the previous of course. Like I said I just think drake fatigue is heavy and also drake legit doesn’t know how to move forward after this Loss. He’s legit just doing so much s*** musically that makes zero sense. Like all dem singles frm the Iceman shows been meh. But I still have great hope for iceman

Drake made himself look like a loser, all he had to is put some effort into these singles.

Also hilarious the cope minority say "Rap doesn't feel the same without Drake" or that "Drake not doing music feels off"...

When that nigga has DROPPED NOTHING BUT MUSIC SINCE THE BEEF LMFAOOO AND THERE'S NOTHINF STOPPING YOU NIGGAS FROM LISTENING, BLASTING AND SUPPORTING HIM BUT YOU NOT

He is still out here, and he is still doing music, yet you niggas think it's so mid that you convinced yourselves he just not around anymore n snuffed out 💀

    lol

huge decline - it sounds like lil yachty was producing and writing on the album.

Ya'll care too much about the charts

I hope hip hop stops selling and the labels stop being involved in our art and we go back to making music that actually means something

Her Loss was a cool experiment that has gone on for way too long. Hes legit just tripling down on that sound and its not working.

Nigga is basically giving us different versions of jumbotron poppin s*** and Fear of Heights

If the music was actually good like Nokia or even WDIM, hell be alright
