I believe it’s the AMC Scream Unseen movie for Monday Dec 22nd.
Saw it back in March at SXSW, I thought it was great though I can understand folks not rocking with it much/calling it mid tbh

Yep just saw this. Was okay. Kinda mid.
Trailer looked mid. Makes sense.
It's kind of crazy that she hasn't found anything of note to do besides Star Wars

I just thought some of the acting was bad. Some of it was great and then some felt Netflix tier to me.
Not true that she hasn’t moved on from Star Wars she’s just doing smaller films. Many have been received well: Sometimes I Think About Dying, Magpie, Woman and the Sea
When everyone likes it and I’m the only one who was let down
expounding why uaint fw it as much might help

I don’t think it will help
I dont like that the “zombies” basically never feel like a threat besides for a few moments. I did like how they were created in this though. Thought that was a unique idea.
Everyone besides Daisy was Netflix tier acting imo. Could not get myself to care about any of them.

I really like that it wasn’t your traditional zombie film. I enjoyed how it was more about the exploration of grief and life cut short and not about the zombies being a real threat.
And I completely disagree on the acting, I think each actor gave an incredible performance

Just felt like no stakes whatsoever idk. Shouldnt even call them zombies imo.
Idk man he seemed so bad to me and I went in wanting to like this. Maybe a rewatch will help but idk.
