Drake will never be able to f*** with Kenny. That’s why he had ESPN get rid of the bits of him talking crazy
You aint get no free dot tickets nigga shut up :jordanlaff3:
See when a nigga can't accept reality, they dive deeper into delusion
Nigga in here d*** riding another niggas pockets
is that why the mr morale tour is outsellng the its all a blur tour?
Its not though 😂😂
Drake did 41m in just 9 shows
Kinda crazy how many drake stans are on this site, it doesn’t seem like I bump into many people who say he’s their favorite artist
Drake stans on here are basically the Coldplay stans of rap
If you call out popular mediocre music for being mediocre, they'll turn it into "Well you must not go outside"
Its not though 😂😂
Drake did 41m in just 9 shows
That don't even matter that much. They talking about Kendrick's last tour that sold, and not mentioning he had to get past 2 Drake tours
Common knowledge should tell you, if there's an increase in concert attendance. The ones who dominated, will continue to
And they gotta say stans because their fave, is not everybody's fave. That's a hell of a lot of cognitive dissonance if you ask me
Drake appeals to the lowest common denominator. A lot of these niggas are immature af and are casuals.

I see nothing but drones everywhere.

Lol yea it's like if you met someone who wouldn't shut the f*** up about like McDonalds or Marvel movies
Like yea lots of ppl consume that stuff all the time but usually it's just light accessible bullshit when you don't want something serious
Actually I bet the Drake stan/Marvel stan crossover is huge now that I think about it
Because I'd rather listen to a song like Trophies during a triumphant moment in my life instead of a kendrick song about institutional racism and absentee fatherhood
Doesn't mean kenny music is bad but what is the time and place that you are actually in the mood to listen to it
I wanna hear y’all opinions?
Only somebody that doesn’t understand hip hop rap or black culture, puts Kendrick over Drake

GOD after achieving something>>>
quantity + quality > quality + no quantity
You got inervisions as ur avi I expect more from you
Drake challenges himself enough musically to justify any claims for his artistry.
My issue has been his content. Drake has been writing about the same s*** for at least 8 years now (fake friends, hoes that upset him, fame being difficult, maybe a sub here and there). He hasn't grown as a writer at all and he barely challenges himself in terms of subject matter. And when he does try, like on March 14, there isn't a lot of depth or insight.
Think about Kendrick's growth from S80 to Mr. Morale, Jay from Reasonable Doubt to 4:44, Kanye from College Dropout to Donda, Q Tip from People's Instinctive to We Got It From Here, Andre from Southernplayalistic to his solo features, Earl from the Odd Future days to Some Rap Songs, etc. They barely sound like the same people.
We clown Push for rapping about selling coke on every album, but how is Drake growing like the interesting figures in rap that influenced him when he's still in IYRTITL mode 8 years later? I feel like it's the same clickbait articles every album cycle listing their favorite new spiteful Drake bars because everyone knows what his perspective is going to be.
Spot on

His music be about these topics, but he only be surface level with his commentary. Obviously I'm talking about the topics outside of being a nigga from Compton
Drake just got wittier lines and punches
i’ll never understand why these niggas get compared its like comparing lebron to tom brady. not even the same sport
They both rap right?

Wrong wrong wrong wrong
Drake’s music is more relatable to the average person and is also more light-hearted and easy to digest. He also frequently collaborates with many other mainstream artists, so he naturally appeals to way more people.
Kendrick is a better technical rapper, collaborates with other mainstream artists less frequently (especially on his own projects), and seems to go out of his way to make music that isn’t similar to what’s already out (sonically and subject matter wise). Just based on the last two points, he’s not going to appeal to as many people. Also the topics he touches are heavy and thus aren’t easy to listen to when you’re just randomly riding in the car or at a function.
An example of this is like the other day, me and my girl were looking for something to watch while we ate. I found a trailer for a movie called Brother and checked it out. S*** was WAY too heavy and I turned it off when I saw where it was heading. She said good choice or something and we ended up watching a comedy. That first movie could’ve been better than what we watched, but sometimes you just don’t have the capacity to sit around consuming heavy content.
Drake’s music is much more easily consumable for the average person, so he’ll have all the records tied into chart success. But after their careers are up, Kendrick will be more critically acclaimed and people will say his music meant more to the culture, specifically because of his willingness to take risks musically and touch on important topics.

I agree 1000% these are the type of responses I was looking for
