there is a great deal of empirical evidence of what im saying so idk what your basis is. american political institutions are stagnant and impotent lol youre saying "changes dont happen overnight" as if there is some miracle climate plan in the works

also thats just one facet of the issue, there is also the growth imperative and the strain it places on our planet. past socialist or would-be socialist countries have focused on growth but it is not an inherently necessary aspect of socialism in the way that it is capitalism so it would give us a way out

idk if youre not aware of the manner by whichthe rich have crushed sustainability efforts i would recommend some reading

You do not need to buy from these mega corporations in order to live your life. Why aren't these socialists/communist organizations funneling their resources into the community like local businessess and local health clinics?
