What didn’t you like about OBAA?

Disagree with a decent amount but finally someone else hates bring her back. That movie was ass.

I don’t consider OBAA to be completely without merits (it is very funny in certain parts and I am a fan of the first 30 mins especially with the Teyana and Penn performances) but what tanks the film for me is its very uneven pacing (large stretches are painfully boring in the 2nd and 3rd acts), most of the characters being very black and white (Leo purely exists to be an incompetent doofus getting bossed around by other characters who mostly all have personalities of tape), and pretty weak craft (PTA dumbs down his filmmaking hard here. This is like Inherent Vice for dummies. Also the 3rd act car chase here is one of the worst set pieces ever made in the history of film. Spielberg’s Duel s***s all over it)

Overall it’s just a painfully below average movie
