Primarily inspired by the most recent announcement that Tim Burton created the album art for Rocky’s don’t be dumb, but I feel like I’m constantly watching super plugged artists use their access poorly artistically.

This doesn’t look great. Is it just the flex of I can commission Tim Burton to do some s*** for me, or is the curating this f***ing bad at this point (in before Yams comments)

Sadly, Rocky isn’t even the worst.

i mean to your point in the op, it was being pushed as a single and i think they did want it to be a success but they just had a big unexpected hit with in my feelings instead. fwiw i remember hearing don’t matter to me a decent amount of the radio on more adult contemporary/r&b stations.

quality of the song wise, i think it’s fair enough if people didn’t like it but i don’t think it was bad. to me its just ok. like yeah it’s new MJ vocals but there’s probably a reason they stayed in the vault for 40 years. the song is fine but i don’t think there was any chance of something revolutionary
