America has had civil unrest for 250 years, and not knowing that history is part of the problem.

ICE is seeing a lot of community pushbacn. That's something

way this is going a government is currently popular with large masses of the population while remaining extremely unpopular in large 'oppositional' circles

because those circles have entirely no idea how to organize the government better than continuing the same thing happening right now except with their guys at the helm, they develop these ideas about people as stupid and thoughtless because somehow they 'just dont get it' that this current government is bad etc etc

this is the first time in all my years on the internet i saw americans referring to others--presumably conservatives and trump supporters--as cattle ie as not humans but animals. its the exact same rhetoric that occurs in russia when it comes to anti-putin sentiment. its the same type of people who dont like a particular strand of the government while being completely helpless in the face of it. they absolutely dont win people over to their side in any meaningful capacity

and with how thats been going over there if i was to make a parallel id say to the people in a similar situation in america they should either consider leaving the country (because this resentment itll literally drive them miserable and insane) or start reading lenin and hit the range in an attempt to turn things around
