Festival season and Oscar season come later. Early part of the year is full of horror and B movie genre stuff. Then you get some blockbusters starting in the spring.

The good movies dont usually come out until later into the year but for a first stretch, it hasn’t been too bad. I think I like the bone temple more than I liked anything released in that January-May period of the last few years

Hoppers was a very pleasant Pixar surprise

not to say i expect bad/movies from them now but it was a nice return after a couple weaker drops
