Speaking of gym, a true story that just happened to me right now
I just left the gym, cut my workout short by one set & the superset I usually end this workout with
I had a random muscle spasm or something as I was adjusting my chair to do my next set & the muscle just sunk deep into my body, a chasm the size of a mango
Nothing like this has happened before so I kinda keel over out of the chair onto the floor and start hyperventilating. Pause my music because I don't want to have no battery on my headphones if I gotta get thrown in an ambulance or sumn (im fine tho, it's all good)
I was super worried because it looked like my muscle had ripped or something crazy, had no idea what to think. I'm on the ground just frozen in a position that doesn't cause any additional pain and hyperventilating
Gym was kinda quiet, only like 6 other people on the floor... nobody even bothered to check on ya boy, I'm just there like thinking 'I finally got into routine & started making noticeable body changes and suddenly it's all messed up.'
People just keep walking by and I'm just stuck there on the ground, dude even locks eyes eitj me and walks on by
It subsides and I decide it's best to leave early (i already did a lot) and let it rest
Leaving the gym feeling kinda empty like damn... these niggas ain't even try to help ya boi.... then I think about attribution error and just decided ehhh maybe they didn't realise what was going on
Still feeling kinda empty so I resume listening to music as I head home, first couple songs ain't hit so I search for some with a build that feels triumphant, i play Happiness Is A Warm Gun by The Beatles and then the climax occurs and I feel chills all over my body, life ain't half bad, don't worry about it me, it ain't nothing to worry about
Then I played Takashi by FlyLo, steady groovy beat building to something, then that bassline driven climax where all the calamity & build up comes to a head hits and I'm feeling good and strutting
everything is good again even if i feel still a slight weird feeling where the spasm happened
Music is powerful B
