yeah I think a combination of Anki flashcards for drilling vocab, Duo for just general learning, some more formal curriculum to learn grammar, and then website like italki to actually speak with another person is the way to go.
i think imma enroll in french 102 pass/fail at my local community college next semester and after that spend more time with books and online in 1 on 1 tutoring sessions to get a better grip of the grammar and to get used to actually speaking with another person
Not familiar with Anki and Italki, but I’ll definitely check those out.
I’ve also been thinking of enrolling in a formal course at a local school

Anki just a flashcard app basically, and ppl have made packs u can download and then import into the app. I got the highest rated one for French vocab and I just spend like 5min a day working my way thru the stuff, it's formatted beginner to advanced so a lot of words I know already but some i dont, and review is good anyway.
italki a website for one on one lessons/tutoring with native speakers. seems reasonably priced but I haven't started it yet, don't feel confident enough to get my moneys worth yet u kno

I might have to learn german pretty fast
It's crazy. I use to think German was such a ugly sounding and atonal language
. It always sounded so harsh to me by people I knew.
But after watching Netflix's Dark, I was like damn this s*** sounds smooth asf
What the hell was I was thinking :jordanlaff3:
So now it might be time to learn it on Duolingo
