    COLE HASNT DROPPED SINCE 2018

Cole don't sell the most anymore overall with his music/receive praise critically and will Kendrick really sell Top 3 like that after his time off? Drizzy is clearly still on top so dat makes sense but...

    Discuss.

    Kendrick will move BIG numbers

So lets say your son is having his bar mitzvah and ya rich enough to book Drake for it

But he misses out so you call Trav

Then he misses out who you calling next?

They are still the top 3 in terms of consistent quality and album sales. Nobody has replaced them aside from one-off instances (i.e. Travis's sales will drop dramatically now that bundles aren't counted)

  • New top 3 is Trav lil baby and Uzi if we're being real

i don't think travis sales will go down at all. i think if anything they'll stay the same or a lil higher

I don't know man.. he did 537k total, of which 270k was pure, with Astroworld. I guarantee you the vast majority of those pure sales were bundles.. My reasoning being that if you look at Drake's 2018 MASSIVE release it only garnered 160k pure even though he was a strong pure sales artist - since Views did 800k+ pure two years earlier.

So if you take away the pure (let's make up a number and say 70% of the pure was bundles) then he really only did ~350k. Still great numbers, but not quite what Drake/Kendrick/Cole are going to do upon their respective returns.

    Wat kinda d*** you smokin

Future and Thug have dropped more good music than anyone in the last 5 years. And they have had the most influence. Travis Scott brand and movement is undeniable.

The new era of hip hop is a reflection of mostly Future Thug Travis. Drake Kendrick and Cole are dinosaurs now. Last Of their kind.

cause drake sold 800k last album and 1.1mil before that first week on an actual "album" release, not to mention laugh now, cry later is still in the top 40

but cole only did 170k pure last outing and i think he had some bundled merch. and i think cole's impact has gone down on this generation, every 1 who didn't know who trav was after astroworld who went to mcdonalds during november knows travis scott's name now. so i can't see based off the moves he's been making, him selling less than astro unless there is a huge negative backlash for some reason

And I’m saying when u look back now on it. 2014 FHD, TPAB were dropped around the same time as Barter 6 and DS2. Future and Thugs music has just had more lasting impact.

They shaped the future of music more than the original big 3 did. Idc about the sales nshit. Future Thug and Travis literally changed the way hip hop operates.

Not quality since that’s subjective with music. But I can objectively argue who’s had or will have a more lasting impact on the game. Regardless of sales
