Currently, it won’t let you play a video on mobile from ktt directly, asking you to “sign in to show you’re not a bot”, nor can you open it in your YT app. I’ve noticed it does this for a period of time every couple months. This is annoying because often times it demotivates me from listening to something I might otherwise. Other times it always you to simply play the as normal in mobile browser without expanding to full screen. Other times it immediately takes you to the YT app. And other times it lets you play it, but immediately makes it full screen, or tries to open YT in browser

It seems it varies between all these options for weeks at a time at random intervals

Can we please find a way to pick one and stick with it? Preferably one that allows us to watch on ktt in mobile browser, and not be redirected to mobile YT or the app

“sign in to confirm you’re not a bot” means youtube’s detected you’re using a VPN & not viewing from the app

I use a VPN 24/7 and that only happens periodically. Same VPN etc. I didn’t start seeing it until maybe a year or so ago (have been using this VPN for like 5 years) and it would eventually go away and revert to normal, but then come back occasionally for a period of time. That combined with the other changes I described led me to believe it is a native issue. Maybe I’m wrong, just describing what I’ve experienced.

    yea same here

it depends where i set my VPN to, i found one location i like to use that doesn't trigger the bot check, but the default location my VPN goes to if i just connect to random does trigger it
