It's more of how the rules are applied differently, is my point. All racism is in this country is whether you get the benefit of the doubt or not. We have video evidence of Rittenhouse and he still got away free despite common sense saying that he should be in jail. A black person would never get acquitted in the same scenario, but you'd be saying him going to jail would be the "correct" decision as you saying now

When a black person is the suspect all of a sudden common sense is used. The jury can arrive at the right decision. Why is that?

lol I don’t like ai but ai judges that don’t have the level of bias or race at times feels like it would be better .

I don’t believe in the prison system period . I’m saying that when someone dies what do you desire happens ? I think lesser charge and ideally no prison time in a condition like this but it’s a slippery slope

If someone unjustifiably kills someone they should go to jail.

But we've seen people get away with it when the victim is black

I have a problem with the inconsistency than I do the actual outcome/sentencing in this case

why would there be consistency from cases in different states with different judges

Yep the cycle never continues sadly . I am referring to an ai and system where the court room doesn’t even know race but it’s a slippery slope

In a case like this it just being two humans no race feels like it would help . Jury of peers with 0 black people it’s dark but we 100% know how it’s going to go

Only white people can play sheriff in random areas and murder black men unprompted unfortunately

The issue is that this is dynamic exists at all and not who’s doing it

    Let’s not be reactionaries

The issue here is the media circus racializing this and stoking the absolute last thing that this case needs to be about

wtf did they do w all that money? as a parent why would you allow your son to go out sad like this on a national level? i guess they were willing to accept whatever came their way especially since he didn’t even bother to testify

It's the overall sentiment. I'm not talking about the details of it. One thing that is consistent though, despite it being different states with different judges and jurors, is that a black person always gets the short end of the stick whether they're the victim or the suspect

The defense did an absolutely terrible job . Also his parents had a chance to kind of humble themselves talk with the victims dad who wanted to practice forgiveness. If they had even acted remorseful we would be in a better situation.

Kicking the dad out of a press conference and all that hooplah didn’t help things
