Oh imma tell you this rn, KTT AINT gonna like this. This is doing 20 pages at least before it gets locked
Malice and Push are high tier MC imo
I mean there’s a level above them like Phife and Tip but they are extremely entertaining on the mic
But The Neptunes do most of the heavy lifting.
That's why Push struggled a bit when he first went solo. He doesn't sound as Godly over basic productions and even then its certain type of track he needs.
He found his vibe with DBTD and Kanye painted the perfect canvas with Daytona
Why would they it’s legit discussion
I’m sorry you get triggered so easily
only a re tard would think it's a legit discussion.
Sounds like an excuse to.me.
He cant make hits on his own.
He needs the production to carry him. Not a great hook writer, his content is pretty one note.
Hes the best at what he does but that doesnt mean hes a great artist.
Rick Ross > Pusha T
This is like saying Jay isn't a great artist because he gets great producers to work with him. Having an ear for beats is a skill and Push got some of the best work Neptunes ever contributed in general. Hell he also got some of the best beats Kanye has made in his post TLOP phase. Not fair to discredit that and Push has proven he can be commercially viable before with Clipse and working with JT and even penning the McDonalds jingle. But he is a rapper first and I don't think its fair to criticize that.
Also broskis ... Remember 'Only You Freestyle'? Pusha T real quiet 🤔
He's scared bro
P**** T!!!
that's just not true tho. producers like 40 are a crutch. Quentin Miller is a crutch. having features like PND on your hooks is a crutch...
Drake is an amazing writer and performer, he's proved that. but just cos he's a 'solo artist' doesn't mean he's a one man band.
It's very rare for rappers to be like that, I can think of very few examples and i don't see any of them on anyone's top 5 list. unless it's the UK, but that's a different culture tbh and even now isn't the same as it was 10 years ago.
Drake is 40 and Aubrey.
And Quentin wasnt around for the first 3 Drake albums and those are the ones that got him lit so stop it

He already castrated Drake and had him crying to lebron
What bout wayne
Wayne ain't got projects f***in wit any of their best work
He great though but he isn't that level
only a re tard would think it's a legit discussion.
Why’s that?
Drake has 1 classic album at best

y’all were wearing this in 2016 nobody is listening to that s*** anymore
i don't play it but it is a classic pop song
i don't think all of drake's hits will last as long as people make out, he just has better infrastructure to chart than some artists who were in his position before him.
But songs like Hotline Bling, Hold On etc. will last a long time imo. for a lot of people he's the main popstar of this era and those are some of his biggest pop songs.

Pusha is scared
This is a lie.
Name me a classic from.an artist signed to a major label with no hits?
It Takes a Nation of Millions, The Lost Tapes, Paul's Boutique, Mos Def & Talib Kweli Are Black Star, Game Theory, Stress: The Extinction Agenda, Be, We got it from Here…Thank You 4 Your Service, Some Rap Songs, Hell on Earth
i think we should be able to include groups too tbh. As a group Outkast are top 5 to me.
endlessly focusing on individuals probably isn't the best thing for music. music is usually a team effort anyway. even if a rapper doesn't need ghostwriters, most of them literally can't write their music without producers.
hip hop has always been a competitive genre at its core though and i think it should be ok to have our lists while also being aware that these are just opinions and of course also giving production and others who put in work their props as well.
if we include groups though i definitely also have outkast high up, probably in top 10, but id also have to make room up there for wu tang, mobb deep, and atcq

Lots of groups struggle to go solo cause they only had to excel at one aspect of making the music for so long
Really doesn’t take away from the body of work

Diss was weak but Drakes verse before that is kinda nice
Anyone who thinks Pusha T has 4 classics clearly doesn't know what a classic is and thus isn't even worth debating
Y'all just listen to an album, like it, saw it was reviewed decently by critics, then call it an easy classic. So stupid

How many classics does Drake have by your definition?
He already castrated Drake and had him crying to lebron
Ah yes, ''yOu aRe hIdIn a cHiLd'' diss of the decade!!
Breh if only Drake dropped that career ending diss track. He decided to be the bigger man though
