i really do wonder how much longer XXL will keep this going purely out of the sake of tradition. these are the total views for each years cyphers, it's getting pretty bleak:

    2011 - 16.7m
    2012 - 7.4m
    2013 - 15.5m
    2014 - 44.4m
    2015 - 6.3m
    2016 - 290m
    2017 - 77.2m
    2018 - 45m
    2019 - 67.4m
    2020 - 35.1m
    2021 - 12.4m
    2022 - 6.6m
    2023 - 4.6m
    2024 - 2.2m
    2025 - 1.5m

2016 really was the last good year

That's the only Denzel project I like actually idk why he never connected for me

Slayr has the potential to be a massive star. Takes the underground sound and puts a pop/EDM spin on it

Listening to Bloodluxe in order wowed me. His melodies/hooks are top tier already and the transitions between each song are nuts.

Nuts that hes only 18/19 too. Well deserved honor.

For those not tapped in, he's the underground's Drake at this point. Underground purists call him corny because of the aforementioned way he sings/incorporates pop and other genres into his music, but at the same time he can do gritty underground tracks like Flashout Freestyle and Wipe Yo Nose

Promise I'm not on payroll despite the new acc and this being the first post, Slayr is just one of the first up and coming artists in years I've been genuinely wowed by

Saw he was named to the list on ig and knew this site would have discussion about it

I'll take it. He sounded great with Tiffany day

  • Yeah I’m out of the loop

I dont know any of these people
