Ye is a rare album that would've benefitted from having more songs.
It's a half amazing and half meh album which makes it very hard to rank.
There's still 3-4 songs I revisit all the time from it while the others are just okay and lack replay value. And that'd be fine if it were a 10+ track album but to be a mixed bag for 7 tracks is crazy.
Donda is easily better than the album despite how long it is. Ye feels more like a mixtape. But it did have emotional depth to it unlike Vultures 1 so I'll give it that.
Its super aiiiight
Like Kanye most aiiiight album ever
Good way to put it.
Honestly, Ye sounded more like a deluxe tracklist than a full album release.
Imagine Ghost Town, Violent Crimes, and Yikes being deluxe songs for KSG.
People don't hate it outside of this website.
This is maybe the only place where people say JIK is better than Ye.
Yep, just basically confirms for me that 80% of the people here are oldheads and idiots

What's oldhead have to do with it if we like Donda and Bully more?
Album is 23 minutes and severely undercooked no way it can compete
Ok u respected Ghost Town I was gonna say
Literally reheard that song yesterday and imo it just hits more and more the older u get 🫂
do you guys talk about anything else. kanye kendrick cole future drake. thats it. ill pay you to talk about an artist that gained popularity after 2020
pay me
Life of Pablo is great
I think it’s a good project, but there are too many mediocre to bad songs on it to consider it truly great. The mixing & mastering is a mess as well. In my opinion it’s his last non-shitty album though.

ye's a fine album. It might be the last album he did that felt like he still liked the idea of songwriting and it wasn't just some kind of obligation. So much of his music now is just him rapping or singing over a loop.
whole wannabe pastor era sucked tbh
i think DONDA was the only good release to come out of that period and Wash Us In The Blood as a single if that counts
That era was actually aight especially Sunday service. This album was before that. And somehow he dropped the worst album out of all the Wyoming albums
